English Language Learners (ELL)
All students in our district whose primary language is not English are eligible for placement in the English Language Learner (ELL) program. A questionnaire is included in the enrollment packet for parents to complete.
Enhanced Learning Program (ELP)
The Queen Creek Unified School District’s Enhanced Learning Program (ELP) serves K–12 students identified as gifted or scoring in the 97th percentile or higher on aptitude tests, providing specialized instruction to meet their academic and social-emotional needs. Through differentiated learning, critical thinking development, and supportive environments, ELP empowers students to reach their full potential and become independent, lifelong learners. For more information, visit our Enhanced Learning Program page.
Early Learning
Silver Valley offers a free all-day kindergarten. We believe early intervention is the key to success, and we’re planting the seeds for our young children to be enthusiastic and successful students. For more information, contact the school office.
Leader in Me
Leader in Me is a whole-school, PK–12 leadership-development framework rooted in FranklinCovey’s 7 Habits of Highly Effective People and 4 Disciplines of Execution, designed to cultivate student leadership, foster a high‑trust school culture, and enhance academic success by embedding leadership principles into daily classroom life and school systems.
Backed by rigorous research and real-world outcomes, it equips students, educators, and families with practical life‑skills—such as goal setting, self‑regulation, and collaboration—empowering them to lead themselves and positively shape their communities. Visit the Leader in Me website to learn more.
PBIS
Our Positive Behavioral Interventions and Supports (PBIS) program is a proactive, school-wide framework that promotes positive behavior, improves school climate, and increases student success by clearly defining, teaching, and reinforcing appropriate behaviors. PBIS emphasizes prevention over punishment and helps create consistent expectations across classrooms and grade levels. Learn more by visiting the official PBIS website.
Title I
Title I is a federally funded program that helps K–12 schools with many low-income students by providing extra resources to improve learning and close achievement gaps. Schools can use these funds schoolwide or to support specific students who need the most help. Check out more information from the Arizona Department of Education.
