Meet Our Principal

Dear Parents and Community Members,

I am honored with this opportunity to serve as principal at Silver Valley Elementary for the 2023–2024 school year. I have had the pleasure of serving students and families in the Queen Creek Unified School District for seven years. In my seven years with the District, I have been a reading specialist, data specialist, and dean of students. Prior to working with QCUSD, I worked at Sunnyside Unified School District in Tucson. While working with SUSD, I taught second and fourth grade, worked as a reading specialist, and served as the program facilitator.

I was born and grew up in the beautiful state of Texas and moved to California when I was 15. My peers and teachers loved to hear my very thick Texas accent. In high school, I played soccer and was a part of the track team and the student council.

I moved to Flagstaff, Arizona, to attend Northern Arizona University. I earned a bachelor's degree in elementary education. Shortly after graduation, I continued my education at NAU and earned my master's in education leadership.

My husband, Michael, and I have three children: Wyatt, Holden, and Nixon. We love the outdoors, hiking, camping, and being together. We are often found in Christopher Creek at our family’s cabin.

I am honored to serve as principal at Silver Valley, and I am looking forward to working with the staff, students, families, and community members to help inspire and optimize the potential of every student entrusted in our care. I view this opportunity as a privilege, and I am looking forward to continuing to serve with the level of excellence you have come to expect from Queen Creek Unified School District.

Sincerely,

Kelli Frazier, Principal
